Wilma came to us as a owner surrender. Her mom has 2 autistic children and was overwhelmed. Wilma is a sweet outgong energenic dog who loves people and kids! Wilma was adopted into a home with 5 children and they have felt overwhelmed by her young puppy energy and training needs This Is what they have to say about her:

Wilma is sweet, cuddly, and loves to give kisses.  Wilma enjoys walks and she walks well on a walking harness.  She loves to chew on chew toys and rawhides.  She is friendly when she meets new people, and will even roll over right away to get a belly rub from them.  Wilma is happy to see her people when they get home.  She still needs a little work on potty training, but for the most part she is good.  She loves to be outside in the backyard sniffing, running around, and fetching a ball or frisbee.  She has a lot of energy and should really be exercised a couple hours a day. She has done well running next to a bike in her foster home. Wilma is still a puppy and still likes to mouth when she is playing.  When she's playing really hard, she can be can get avery rough sometimes and sometimes it's hard to redirect her behavior.  Usually if you get down to her level and talk with her in a calm voice, she responds well.  This behavior needs some work and with having a house full of children we cannot control that behavior well.  She likes children, but is not aware of her strength and when she plays hard, she gets mouthy with the puppy biting. She jumps when she greets you after not having seen her people for a while, and will need some work on that.  She appears to like dogs, but would play best with a dog more her size. Wilma is a very loyal dog and I think she would be best in a home where there is a couple or single person.  Wilma is also a great watchdog, as she hears most noises outside of the home.
