Daisy is a sweet Basset hound mix 9 months old. Sweet baby girl loves to be around other dogs is great with kids. She loves to play in the yard.


Meet Daisy: An Affectionate Gentle Explorer
With her shiny black coat and charming white “boots,” Daisy is a sweet soul with a big heart. Found wandering the streets with her 5 siblings, she’s been through a lot in her young life--but her spirit remains gentle, curious, friendly, and affectionate.
We believe Daisy may be a mix of basset hound and Great Dane, but whatever her heritage, she's truly one-of-a-kind. Initially timid around adults who approach her standing, Daisy warms up quickly when greeted with patience-- kneel down, and you'll likely be rewarded with a wagging tail and soft nudges. Every day she grows braver, stepping forward to meet new friends with genuine enthusiasm.

Daisy adores both giving and receiving attention. She loves checking in with her foster mom after yard explorations and never strays far. She's already about 80–90% house-trained and is quickly picking up routines like sitting before meals or walks. Bath time? No problem. Crate time? She’s not always excited, but she’ll go in without a fuss. Like many puppies, she’s still learning what’s okay to chew, finding things that resemble wood when she’s bored or eating grass and bark outside--but with gentle guidance, she’s eager to please and easily redirected.

She’s mostly quiet, except for the occasional bark at dogs across the street. She's never aggressive--just curious--with a calm demeanor toward other animals. Her docile personality makes her an absolute delight around children, often laying down and flopping over with a belly-up grin as soon as she’s petted.

Daisy shares a beautiful bond with her sister, Bubbles. They’re often found curled up together during naps or chasing each other playfully through the yard-- Daisy loves being outside and is always enticing her sister Bubbles to play
