Minnie along with 2 other small chihuahua where rescued from a hoarding/over population case. These poor tiny things have lived most of there lives in crates with little attention. They have such sweet spirts and you can see by there eyes they just want some love. They are shy but Minnie warmed up to her foster mom in a matter of days.  They get along with dogs very well (all have experience with small dogs only) and seem to ignore all types and ages of cats. Kids loudness and energy scare them but they don't snap or bite in response. This is what her foster mom had to say about her:

Minnie is a sweet girl despite coming from a rough background. She loves to be near her foster mom at all times and would be a perfect companion for someone. She'd be fine with being an only dog or having a fur brother or sister. At home she ignores my other dog. She walks well outside on or off leash shes not venturing far from her person. She sleeps in bed with me at night and loves to snuggle.

Minnie seems to have some Slight depth preceptions issues which we suspect might be from them living in filthy, crowded, Ammonis gas filled life of living in a hoarding situation. She can see but it might just not be very clear for her. She is heartworm positive and being treated via the slow kill method. She has recieved her 12 month heartworm proheart injection and won't need further treatment until the 1 year mark. She had a full dental upon intake and sadly most of her teeth where rotting and removed. She needs to be on a soft diet.
