Online Adoption Application

Chippy (FKA Pedro) was rescued from the local shelter after the rescue coordinator called us saying they had a chihuahua puppy who was scared to death and would not do well in a shelter environment. This little guy is named called Pedro and is settling into his foster home. This is what Pedro's foster mom says about him:

He is a feisty one but also a sweetie, he is slow to warm up to new people but once he does....lookout because he will want your lap! He is still a puppy so will need further training, including outside potty reinforcement. He loves his toys and wants to play.  In his current home he has 3 large dog siblings and one cat. He is good with all his siblings, likes to follow our Rhodesian around. He is your typical Chi breed and becomes nervous to new sounds and places but calms easily with human attention. He would do best in a home where's there's not too much "crate time".  He is crate trained, but its not his preference as he is a people dog.  He sleeps in my bed like a champ and wants to be in contact with a human while sleeping. He would make a good companion for someone wanting a dog to snuggle with!
