Max was a last chance rescue at Orange County Animal Services due to his energenic mouthy manner with people. Max is basically a  huge untrained puppy with tons of muscle and power. He is currently in a board and train program so help him curb this habit! This is what his foster has to say about him:

Meet Max! This handsome, Scrappy-Doo lookalike, pup is looking for his forever home. He loves to be outside, play with toys (especially ropes!), and do anything active. He knows 'sit' and is learning 'down' and 'stay'. He is very energetic and will do well in a house that is enjoys the outdoors and is willing to work with him. He is house trained, crate trained, and does well on car rides. He's 1 year old, weighs 35 pounds and is heartworm negative

This is what his dog trainer had to say about him:

Max is a 1 year 3 months old little Bully that weighs 36 lbs. He found himself at the shelter 3 times. First as a stray, second because he was 1 pound over the apartment's weight limit and third because he destroyed the apartment and for biting the owner. I brought him in for training the next day and immediately started working on his behavior. He quickly learned basic commands and walks great on the leash! He loves to play rough with other dogs but doesn't hurt them. He would do well with dogs his size or bigger that are friendly and enjoys a game of chase or wrestling. I wouldn't recommend any small kids since he likes to rough house. He hardly ever tries to play bite me anymore but is easily redirected to a toy. He is crate trained, loves walks, jogging and going on adventures. He is great in the car and in public.
