Lady was pulled from the local animal shelter. She was in the cage with another younger chihuahua that we were pulling and she just looked so sad. God knows why she was at the shelter at her age...but we have her and she is safe now. She just needs a warm doggy bed to sleep in and some gentle pets in her old age! Foster update: Lady is 12 years old and 12 pounds of sweetness. She is the submissive type and timid at first but warms up quickly. She loves to sit by you or in her crate and is happy knowing someone is in the room. She is great with dogs, big and small and great with cats. Her foster has 3 cats and Lady pays them no attention and is very friendly to them. She barely barks only when a new person comes into the house. She enjoys riding in the car and will sit on your lap while driving if you let her. She even will nudge your hand so you will pet her. She has a pep to her step in the mornings and likes to burrow in a blanket and run around wagging her tail when she's being peppy. Most times she just enjoys lounging around and being near someone.
