Petey was found as a stray and pulled from a Florida shelter. He looks like a chihuahua mix but stocky. Here is what his foster had to say: Petey will steal your heart. This sweet lovable boy is a bit timid at first but warms up quickly. He loves to be with his people. Once you gain his trust he want to snuggle in your lap. Petey is talkative.....he has an opinion and he will share it! He does well with dogs his size but.is intimidated by larger dogs but will warm up eventually and want to play. He loves to play chase and is actually pretty fast at it. Petey walks well on a leash. He sleeps with his foster parents and loves to burrow under the covers. Petey is working hard on potty training. He prefers not to being in the crate. He isn't destructive so fine being left put. Petey is good with older kids, small dogs ( he warms up slowly to larger dogs) curious about cats but doesn't bark at them or chase them. Petey is an amazing dog looking for an amazing home.
