Learn more about the Great Dane.
Bella and Chloe where found as strays and travelled down from Georgia to our rescue to find homes. Since they where strays we have NO idea of there breed. To be honest they currently act like uncoordinated baby horses who loves people! We guess somesort of larger hound like a coon or blood hound mixed with great dane ? They are both sweet loving girls and loves to play! This is what the foster has to say about her: Bella came in with her sister Chloe as a stray in Georgia, severely emaciated and sick. These big girls are gentle and sweet. Bella is the more playful and outgoing of the two, but also very respectful and knows her size with the 3 year old in the house. She is a stubborn leash walker when she is unsure of where you are going (you must drag her along), but once confident, she is EXCELLENT on leash. She will never drag you! She is a ball dog through and through and loves to wrestle with her sister and the other dogs in the house. She is goofy and floppy, and ran into the glass door too many times to count the first day in our home. Now she comes to a screeching halt, butt flying over her head like a cartoon character to dodge it. She rarely barks and only cries when she truly needs something (potty, water, food). She is doing really well with potty training and knows she potties outside, only having accidents when she is playing hard and forgets to ask to go potty. She is sweet, soft, floppy, and loving. We have a pool, but she is uninterested in swimming – but not scared of it either just would rather run around with her sister or lay on her kuranda bed. SHE LOVES that elevated bed and her new home should get her one – she loves it as much as her toys! Bella is the larger of the two sisters, by about 5 lbs, and has a boxier nose and much bigger feet. These two are hands down the BEST puppies we have ever fostered. They are going to make the most wonderful additions to their future families.
