Winston owner contacted us because he lives in an apartment and works long hours. If you know anything about a cattle dog then you know this is not a good  match. Cattle dogs have high energy and need lots of room to run. See below what the owner has to say about him:

Winston is a 10-month-old, Australian Cattle dog and is approximately 44 lbs. with high energy. He loves to play and loves tummy rubs. He has no diet restrictions and a rather healthy dog. He loves to run and would need lots of spaces to do it. 
 
Winston's ideal home is a place where he can freely for hours and a place with lots of love attention. 
 
Winston is a bit shy around other dogs and new people. He doesn't have much experience in both categories and does not have any formal training. I've tried formal training but with my schedule and work, it's hard to maintain it. He is cate trained, however, when he is not tired and alone, he would tend to chew on anything he can. Lots of discipline and training is needed for Winston. Additionally, when he is playing, he tends to jump or nip at the person out of fun. 
 
Winston is currently up-to-date with his vaccinations.Winston is neutered and is on Simparico Trio Medicine for heartworm and flea prevention.
