Milo was found as a stray after he walked up to a rural georgia property. After living there for a bit the owner decided not to keep him and contacted a local rescue to help. He now in a foster home with us locally. He such a mellow sweet loving guy! This is what the foster had to say about him:

MIlo is a very sweet yet timid boy. We are seeing his personality come
out little by little as he decompresses from all the change that has
happened in his life recently. Milo is a pretty chill low-key dog. He
is very smart. He loves Nylabones. MIlo loves the walks we go on
because he loves exploring. MIlo loves to be loved on - hugs,
scratches, belly rubs...he can't get enough. His guilty pleasure is
soft dog food (doesn't like salmon!) but Milo is slowly opening up to
other treats. Milo is potty trained and crate trained. He does have
separation anxiety.

The ideal forever home would be a quiet home with another low-key dog.
His human should be an outdoor loving person that can take Milo along
for walks, hikes, and other outdoor adventures.

Milo is an unexpected hidden treasure and you would be lucky to have
him in your life!

Milo is heartworm positive and currently on the slow kill treatment.
