This little fella is Ricardo, he came to Animal Advocates when his human dad lost his home and had to move in with relatives.  He couldn't take Little Ricky with him.  So his dad made the responsible decision to surrender him so we could safely find the perfect home for him.  Little Ricky is a very well adjusted little dog.  He is dog, cat, and kid friendly.  He likes every human that he meets.  He does tend to be a little dominant and sometimes has issue with dogs that are bigger than him. But he is in a foster home with four other little dogs and they play together constantly.  He is house trained and crate trained.  He does whine a little bit when he is left alone, but after a few minutes he does quite down and patiently waits for you to return.  Ricky likes to go for walks, but he does tend to pull on his leash.  So he could use a good lesson in leash manners, which his foster mom is in the process of working with him.  Ricky has a lot of energy for a young dog.  He likes to run, so he really needs a home with a yard.  He is very playful and he loves his toys.  He would be great for a family with children.
