Henry was rescued after one of our fosters saw neighborhood post indicating his owners did not want him anymore. He  He’s been kept in a crate his entire life & apparently didn’t stay small as they expected and he couldn’t even stand up inside the crate, he was kept in that crate 9+ hours a day. He is now safely in a foster home and has this to say about his personality:

He loves kids & gets along well with other dogs. He does of course try to dominate (hump) but that should not be a problem once he’s neutered and his hormones decrease. He is very happy in spite of how he has been treated & has LOTS of energy! His weight today was 48 Pounds & does need to gain a bit more. My vet believes he is lab/Shepard mix. I feel he’d be the perfect dog for a family that has kids who can run & play with him, he’s a natural retriever! He’s still only about 9 months or so old & completely crate trained, not 1 accident in my house! So he’s very adoptable. He would make a great home for a young family or someone looking for an active dog!
