Learn more about the Border Terrier.
Sinclair was owner surrendered after he broke his leg and the owner could not afford treatment and surrendered him to the rescue. We are not 100% what his breed is, he came from a home that had breeds small dogs and is a mixed wired terrier of some sort. Could be some Border Terrier, Brussel Griffon, wired hair terrier, etc. What we do know is that he a happy energentic puppy! Sinclair loves to run and play with his foster brother. His absolute favorite thing is to give kisses. He manages to charm everyone he meets. He loves belly rubs and if he is with you he will automatically roll over so that he can give you better access to his belly. We are working on potty training but he will go on the puppy pad and let you know when he needs to go out. Due to size would recommend a home with older children or older people. Sinclair early injury cause some sort of defect to happen to his right front growth plate. He has had several x rays and been seen by the specialist at AVS. Even after repeat x rays no break has been seen but there is a bow in the front ankle joint. At this point there is no treatment for this defect until he gets older. The rescue is wiling to provide continued care for his leg injury even after adopted but an adopter must know that Sinclair will need special home that will love him no matter his defects. He cannot jump off furniture or high surfaces but otherwise has no exercise restrictions. Sinclair had a terrible case of kennel cough which he is finally recovering from but like most dogs can occationally can have a reverse sneeze/cough More about SinclairGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids Special Needs: Sinclair early injury cause some sort of defect to happen to his right front growth plate.
