Trooper was rescued injured by the sheriff department in rural Gerogia. After looking for his family for several days they contacted a local rescue group who transport dogs all over the country. Trooper came down to florida and he hasn't looked back. Trooper is an amazing, sweet, loving dog! His leg injury is old and healing slowly but this doesn't slow down Trooper. He has gotten along with all the dogs he has met so far, he was non reactive to cats, he loved the kids he interacted with and seems housebroken. 

Trooper is heartworm positive and undergoing the slow kill treatment. He will receive a proheart heartworm injection and will not need treatment for 1 year.
