Kylo owner could not keep him due to moving and getting a new job. Lucky he know a registered foster with us who agreed to foster kylo until he found his furever home! This is what his foster has to say about him:

Kylo was brought into our rescue after his owners were looking to re-home him due a new job demanding long hours. Kylo has been with his foster family for 3 weeks now and has settled in very nicely. There are two other dogs in his foster home, and he is great with them. He plays very gently with the young puppy and loves to play-wrestle with the larger pup. He is the perfect mix of a sport/outdoorsy dog and a cuddly baby. When it’s time to go on a big hike he is super excited and alert, ready to explore. When it’s time to be settled at home he is happiest cuddling on the couch with his people or chewing on his toys.

Here are a few things his foster parents have learned about him:

• He was not exposed to many things as a young pup so he can be startled easily by new things. Typically, loud or large things startle him most. He will bark when he is startled by something but is not aggressive at all.
• When out exploring he is curious about new things and new people. He is good with other dogs and people, but his foster family has made sure intros are slow and clam so he feels safe.
• He has very good listening skills. He comes when called, stays near you off-leash, knows a handful of commands, and is eager to please.
• He is crate trained and knows to “go laydown” when his family is leaving. He is okay to sleep in his kennel or your bed.
• He has been exposed to kids and takes very kindly to them. Because he is a cautious pup being in a home with children that have previous dog experience would be best. He is very kind and cuddly with children, but they can startle him at times.
