Little Mia was rescued after her her momma died and she was seperated into a home who volunteered to bottle feed her at just a few weeks old. Her feeder could not keep her and needed to have surgery so she came down to us to finnish growning and find a great home. Her mom was a Golden Reteriver Mix but the father was unknown. She looks a little fuzzy maybe some chow or shepherd in her? Its hard to tell her true breed. This is what her foster has to say about her:

Well, little Mia has adjusted quite nicely to going potty outside!! As soon as she’s let out, she’s running to the grass to take care of business, and now that she can be around our other dogs, she seems to have chilled out quite lot too. She’s quite curious of the outdoors and will sniff and taste everything and anything if given the chance to. She tries to be the alpha and our dogs pretty much let her. She’s not afraid of our dogs at all and is very confident in herself. Josie has tried to teach her some manners but, if challenged by little Mia, she backs down. We don’t have to correct her nipping of people much anymore, but she still likes to chew on other inanimate objects and clothing. She does get vocal sometimes and will let you know if she doesn’t agree but she responds to a firm vocal hiss as correction and accepts any toy you give her immediately after. She likes to be around people and loves to play with our dogs and all the toys and enjoys being a part of their little woof pack. She likes to be held to some extent but will get restless and look to go to a dog bed or her crate for some personal space. She sleeps in her crate at night without any issue and while she is puppy pad trained,  we are slowly fading that out.  We started to introduce her to a harness and leash but as of the past few days, she’s only tolerating very short walks with her small little legs.  She’s a sweet little girl and will be getting spayed later this week. If you’re looking for a sweet, spunky, playful puppy to be a part of your family, please consider adopting little Mia.
