Sassy was surrendered by her owners after they decided she smelled to much and didn't want to deal with it. Poor sassy just had some bad ear infections and a skin infection. She is estimated to be between 10-12 years old. She gets along with all types of dogs and people. She is rather laid back and prefers to lay in the sun, snuggle on the sofa and in the bed! She barely barks and has a laid back personality. This is what her foster mom has to say about her: Sassy, Sassy takes a little time feeling secure in a new place, she is a loner and will spend her time in whatever spot she makes her favorite, I make sure to interact with her one on one thru out the day, so she knows she is loved. She doesnt mind being around other small easy going dogs, she will play with my puppy, and she does like toys. She loves walks or going out in the yard but never alone, and she isnt a fan of staying outside for to long if its hot. She is potty trained she doesnt mind getting a bath and she is great about letting you wash her face or trim up her hair, she barks if she thinks someone is near the house but otherwise she is a very quiet girl, she uses the wood doggie steps to get on the bench at the end of my bed. She will sleep there or on the floor, she has yet to sleep on the bed. Sasyy will play with you and nibble your fingers and ask for belly rubs but she depends on her human to make that interaction with her. Sassy is located in the tampa bay area, a meet and greet is a must for foster Mom especially if there is a doggy sibling involed.
