Copper was rescued from rural Georgia, her owner surrendered her to a partner rescue for no fault of her own. She is extremely dog friendly and gets along with all dogs of any age, size or temperment. She loves to play with other dogs and would love a furever home with a doggy playmate. She is good with kids and is  housebroken. To me she is the perfect size since she isn't a large dog but isn't small either. She loves her people and can be left loose in the home without destruction (she has learned how to use dog doors in less than 24 hours in her foster home). She loves to sleep in the bed with her owners! She does have a great protective bark and is very aware of her surroundings but wouldn't hurt a fly! She had never lived with cats before she came to her foster moms home and has since done very well with the cats. She is curious and got scratched on the nose once and learned to keep her distance. They still make her curious but she isn't aggressive at all. She has even lived with a littler of tiny foster kittens.

Copper is one of the rescue dogs participating in the University of Doglando summer camp from July 1st- 12th. She will be ready for adoption on the 12th at her graduation ceramony. She will be going on outings, doing training lessons and generally having a wonderful time at camp until then!
