Darla and her 3 babies where rescued from a partner organization in Georgia. Like most she was abandoned pregnant and spit out 3 beautiful healthy pups. She is an amazing momma dog and a lovely dog to foster.

Darla is currently being fostered in a home with 2 kids under the age of 4 years old, 4 foster kittens, 3 adult cats and 2 other adult dogs in the home. She loves to play wrestle with other dogs who love to run. She loves to chase zooms around my yard and wrestle with the other dogs! She gets along great with my Chihuahua mix who is a little under 1 year old and about 16lbs (She does play rough). Darla is a beautiful dog but im not 100% sure what her breed is. She is about the size of a whippet but its clearly mixed. She is too big to be a Jack Russel Terrier and has longer legs and a sleek body like a whippet. She loves to run and chase my other dog in the back yard. she is 100% potty trained and can use a dog door once instructed. She doesn't seen destructive at all and stays in a puppy pin while im away from the house (Clearly she could jump over it but she very obediant). She definately a bit shy around men but warms up to men within 30 minutes to an hour of meeting them. She loves to lay on the couch and be pet! She really is a great dog, anyone would be lucky to have her! She can get excited and can jump up or mouth you but a firm no stops her (even from my 3 year old). She can be shy/skittish with new experience but it takes her hardly any time to figure out the new experence and grow confidence. She is leash trained and walks well on the leash!
