Halo was rescued from Orange County Animal Control after she was found as a stray and completely shut down at the large shelter. She would not move and would shake in fear. She was marked rescue only and lucky for her we have a "chihuahua whisper" foster who stepped up to take on the challenge of working with Halo to open up! She is moving along very slowly and will need a special home! Halo foster mom has several other chihuahuas and this has allowed her to open up with them and she bonds very quickly with other dogs. She doesn't enjoy being crated but can be left alone loose in the home. she still hates going on the leash and will need a fenced yard. She is housebroken but will not go out side on her own (you must leash he and bring her outside) but she will come back inside on her own. She really bonds quickly to people and other dogs so we are looking for a patient loving home for her to bond too!
