Petey was found abandoned on a country road in rural GA. Lucky he was found by a volunteer for a partner organization and was transported down to us here in Florida. He is an absolutely awesome dog who likes all dogs, cats and people he meets. He loves riding in the car and giving kisses. He is a low rider dog looks like basset hound legs/feet mix with a boxer/bulldog head! This is what his foster dad has to say about him:

Petey

Petey is a very sweet puppy who loves everyone and anyone! He likes to cuddle up on you and loves being pet and receiving attention,  he is not aggressive whatsoever and understands tone of voice very well. He is very energetic and responsive. He interacts very well with other dogs and also tries to befriend cats! Petey is really good on leash and will follow you wherever you take him, and sometimes even lead the way. He has never tried to break out of his crate, he just cries when he is in it overnight because he misses you ( im sure he would like to sleep in  the bed). He has some trouble getting up on the couch with his back legs (short legged dog lol) but once hes up there he will cuddle all night! He has chewed up some Tupperware before so chewtoys are definitely recommended. He sometimes stands up on his back legs to greet people but if you tell him not to he immediately calms down. All in all Petey is an incredibly sweet puppy who deserves owners who will love and cherish him.
