Cookie is an adorable and unique looking dog. We rescued her from Georgia where her own kinda let her wonder and the neighbors ended up taking care of her. She basically lived around the acreage for a couple years have litter after litter and finally the neighbors took her and found a rescue to take her. She is a wonderfully calm laid back dog. She gets along with other dogs (doesn't love love puppy energy in her face) and is in a foster home with another larger breed female dog. She enjoys laying on the counch and sleeping. She crates and seems housebroken. She is so laid back that she fell asleep while getting her first nail clipping! her look is very special as she looks like a purebreed german shepard but is about 2 inches off the ground and has the legs of a basset hound.

Cookie is heartworm positive and being treated for ehlichea Infection. She is being treated for heartworms using the slow kill method.
