Kiara is a beautiful purebreed german rottweier who was owner surrendered to our organization. Her owner was older and could not handle her exuberant nature. She is a true southern peach and enjoys listening to country music. She is good with kids (a bit older kids are recommended because of her size and energy level), dogs and housebroken. She VERY much loves people and gets attached easily. She hasn’t had any formal training in her young life and spent much of it being crated, but is a quick learner and has made a lot of progress with her foster family. She knows commands like sit, stay, wait, paw, time-out, lay down, and play dead (when you say “bang” and shoot her with a gun hand gesture). She is a beautiful people pleaser and wants nothing but love and attention from her humans! She does have separation anxiety and needs her people home a lot! She adapts quickly once she is on a routine.
Kiara is light heartworm positive and is being treated with slow kill method.
