Toby was rescued from a local shelter. He is such a sweet guy who was adopted by his foster family a while ago. Since adoption they have gone back to working full time and toby has seperation anxiety and it was not a good fit for there home anymore. This is what his foster has to say about him:

Toby is a very cool looking dog. He looks like a cross between a poodle, a schanuzer, or wired hair jack russel? We really don't know! He has the wired/curly type hair mixed with the shorter coat like wired hair jack russel! Toby love other dogs his size! He plays with the resident 1 year old large chihauhua mix Very well. He good with cats and basically ignored them unless our one semi feral kitten is running like and maniac in the yard or very energenic young kittens then he will chase them. He does not attempt to chase or hurt my adult older cats who won't run and will swip at him. He would never injury a cat but gets enuthiasic sometimes! He been great with our children (aged 3 and 4 years old)! He 100% housetrained during the day if let out freqently and is learning to use a dog door but prefers to have you "take him" by following you into the yard for his business.  He is loose at night in the home. Toby "marked" my home for the first 24-48 hours but has since stopped (i assuming it is because ive had so many foster dogs in and out of my home). He doesnt like to be left alone for long hours and since im a stay at home mom the longest length of time i leave is about 4 hours. He is kept in an indestructible crate he cannot break out of while im away (this crate will accompany him to his new furever home). Sometimes he will howl when i leave but calms down quickly. He loves long walks and is pretty athletic can usally go for a 2.5-3 mile power walk daily in the morning. This walk wears him out for the day and his energy level goes down to a medium level. Toby will jump when excited or when first meeting people. He has previously been allowed on the bed and sofa in his other foster homes houses but we do not allow that here and he is learning slowly! Toby isnt much of a barker unless you leave the house. Toby likes the car and going for car rides and will jump right in! Toby previous homes/foster homes noted he might try and "escape" out the front door if allowed but i have had no issues so far. We watch to make sure he is back before opening the door and lock all the doors so our small children cannot accidently open the door and let him out. He has not attempted to escape my fenced in yard (which is only horse fencing with "chicken type wire" on the inside). I think he would make an excellent walking or running partner as his stamina is very good for longer distances...he does pull hard on the leash and will need continued training with the pulling. He enjoys attempting to chase squrils in our fenced yard and following me around. He seems to love men and women equally but obviously follow the primary caregiver/food provider of the home the most. Once Toby settles into his home he starts getting a little protective and will bark and people who are visiting. It takes him about 3-5 hours to figure out those people are welcome and then he just fine. I correct his barking and jumping up on people frequently by keeping him leashed when new people visit my home.

Toby comes with his LARGE indestructable crate.
