Dixie is a sweet shy mini pin. Her owners surrendered her because they were moving. She has lived with cats (and her current foster has 3 cats) but has never lived with dogs. She is currently fostered with other large breed dogs but is very shy around them until she gets comfortabl. She prefers dogs her size or smaller. It has taken her about 2 weeks to feel Ok with my husband but has warmed up to all females she has met. She does take a few days to come out of her shell but is very much connected to her humans. She is housebroken and is freeroam in the home without destruction. She loves to be pet and follows her current foster mom around the house just for a chance to be pet. She is living with a 2 year old and a 7 month old and gets along fine with them! Dixie loves to take long walks but pulls a lot so we are working with her on this and uses a harness. Dixie's ideal home would be with a female dominate home with or without other small dogs. She loves company and sleeps on the top of the couch like a cat. She loves to burrow under blankets! Dixie does not like critters like chinchillas or hamsters in her home. She becomes obsessed and will hunt them.
