Zena and her siblings were surrendered by their designer-dog  breeder/owner as they were unable to care for them. These cute siblings have all since been groomed (see before and aftephotographs) and are ready for adoption.  Zena has the longer hair like a Cairn terrier, but has the shih tzu face and jaw.  She is 9.8 pounds and will not get a bit bigger! She is sturdy but very small. Loves to play and run in the yard . 

Zena is a beautiful extremely smart  shy little girl. Once she has a moment to know you she warms up, but is not timid, does not shy away like so many rescues, just does not exude full out happiness. She is polite, sits quietely and takes her time which is the smart thing to do.  She is not particular about men or womena as her foster parents say she loves them equally. She is curious about eveything like a puppy, but the good thing is she is crate trained, and probably housebroken as no accidents in a couple weeks at teh foster home.  She still is a puppy at heart and will jump on you but is so tiny you done really notice so you will get some puppy behaviour with a lot of love!

She eats one quarter  of a cup of Publix brand premium chicken and rice dog food and two treaspoons of soft (just to spoil her) twice a day. 

Her two brothers went to homes that wanted male pups, so not it is her turn to be loved furever.  Hopefully its you!
